Zoa disease?

Not sure what this is... but over the last couple of days, my Armageddon zoas started closing up, thinning its stalks and look like it's throwing up or something. It started with a couple of polyps and proceeded to turn the whole group like it.

I fragged a few healthy polyps out but I'm not sure if the rest are doomed or if it's something they will get over. Right now only two other small colonies in the tank seem irritated but everythig else is opening fine and there doesn't appear to be any nudibranches or other stuff eating it.

Have any of you seen anything like this?

There are a few things that I would check.

Firstly check your water parameters and ensure that they are all within the acceptable ranges.

Check that there is no water flow directed straight at them - they do not like strong current pointing right at them!

Watch the tank and see if any fish are having a nibble at them.

I have had corals shut up for weeks on end and then just as suddenly as they shut up they started to open again.

Hope this helps.
